Weddings with The Lane Studios are led by couple Sean and Donnla. Based in Galway, we primarily shoot in the west, but we travel throughout the country when romance calls! We shoot in a reportage-style (‘candid’ shots where you just so happen to look amazing) mixed with a flair of fine art posing, telling your story in a way that is authentic and heartfelt! We believe your wedding photographs should be more than just pictures: they should be a reflection of who you are, your personalities, and your unique love story. We welcome all types of love and unions and have a range of packages to choose from that fit most budgets - including micro weddings and elopements.

Frequently asked questions
The most important thing is for you to enjoy your day - including the parts where you’re having your photos taken! We communicate with you in the run up to the wedding to get a clear sense of what your expectations are and make sure we’re all on the same page. We have lots of experience with pre-wedding jitters so our phone is always open for questions and concerns!
Absolutely! We love collaborating with our couples and it’s always great to know as much as we can about what you’re looking for.
This all depends on the collection you choose. With our most popular package, you will receive 300 edited photos.
Yes - for weddings happening outside of Co Galway, we charge €35 per hour for any travel which includes to the wedding and back.
Not yet! We’re hoping to launch this service in 2025. In the meantime, we have a list of talented wedding videographers we can recommend.
The first step we recommend is to come to the studio and chat in person! Our consultations are relaxed and stress-free - we go over whatever details you have in place, show you examples of our work, and take you through the process from start to finish.
